In case you haven’t seen the first installment of my “Worth a Look” column, we featured some gloomy, decaying shots I photographed in my birthplace of Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia.
This time around, how about something a bit less depressing?
As the year approaches its end, leaves flare up in the colors of the sun – golden, ochre, fiery red; Then, falling to the frostbitten ground, they are buried underneath white, blinding snow (if you’re lucky), or just get washed away in the muddy wetness of the season. The world warms up again, as flowers take bloom, and the cycle continues again.
This is what today’s installment is about: the seasons. No matter what time of year it is, beauty is all around us.
