Curiosity Quills Press Announces Writing Competition for NaNoWriMo ParticipantsAnd so, here we are, after half a month of nailbiting, secretly cheering, and otherwise obsessing (politely) over the brilliantly talented submissions we received for NaNo-Virtuosos Round One.

These writers have poured their hearts and souls into their submissions, and it shows.

So, without further ado, the entries that made it through Round One are:

So, What Happens Next?

The winners of Round One will have through December 19, 2011 to make any necessary edits to their entries, before they go back on the chopping block for the next round.

We’ll be posting an official announcement on that day to announce Round Two, and voting for the best five pages will begin. Be sure to visit the main NaNo-Virtuosos page for official contest rules.

As always, we wish best of luck to our competitors, and may the best novels win!
