We have all heard about the 50 Shades of Grey phenomena. It is touted as the greatest book published for women this decade. Well, for all those readers without a taste for fan fiction based erotica, here are one hundred and one other options for your reading pleasure.

Personally, I love classic literature. There is just something soothing about getting lost in the pages of an Elizabethan romance or Twain’s colorful stories of boyhood adventures. Evenpolitical satire seems more humorous when surrounded by the ornate language of the past.

However, I have to admit that some of the more modern books are equally as powerful. Fiction based on true stories especially send chills down my spine. (Have you read Room yet?) I’m a bit of a science nerd, so scientific studies illuminated in an exciting way are a fun read for me too.
